An interesting strategy

Featured is the rapid chess game between Vladimir Kramnik and Magnus Carlsen from the 2011 Amber Rapid Tournament. Once Kramnik plays d5, a big fight ensues over that key square. Kramnik wants to establish a white piece on d5, and Carlsen wants a white pawn on d5. After the battle over d5 has concluded, the attention turns towards the pawn majorities where Carlsen quickly emerges the victor. Carlsen’s accuracy for this rapid game was 98%.
