The Provisional Ratings

So first of all, I know its a *Provisional Rating* . Nobody has to comment this now thx. So it doesnt impact me but i think its just not fair for the long time players who placed on the classical leaderboard and are playing for a long time to get beaten by someone who played 15 games against "badder people" and is placing #1 with 200 more then #2. As an example ( I aint saying hes playing bad or anything and I dont have anything against him) lichess.org/@/HStyles/perf/classical . Hes right now at 2825? after 11 games and would be #1 on the leaderboard. I repeat, I also know that this is only a Provisional Rating and that it does not mean much. I just wanted to mention it because I do not like this new rd starting and ceiling. This can also have a negative effect, because I have seen games where I lost 1500? against 1400 and got -400 points.

Looking at the profile you linked, it is more worrying to me that he mainly played other provisionally rated players. This is a long standing wish of many forumists to pair the provisionals against each other, but IMO it is a good example, why it is not a good idea to let new players play against other newbies.
