How can I understand cheaters ?

#11 He might have had 0 0 0, but that's not very hard to do when your opponent blunders their queen and bishop on move 10. Stockfish will agree with almost any move because being down a queen is already decisive in a game. The only situation to be right to be suspicious of your opponent is when you yourself haven't made any major mistakes(You: 3 inaccuracies 1 mistakes 0 blunders 17 centipawn loss Opp: 0 inaccuracies 0 mistakes 0 blunders 3 centipawn loss).
Lets play and f... the cheaters, dont care about them.
Chess and infidelity probably have something in common, like seeking revenge, wanting satisfaction, wishing attention or wanting to learn new moves. Trying to understand cheaters is going to be a struggle.

A cheater is probably willing to bend some rules to get ahead. Cheating probably gives the same feeling as when we drive a car over the speed limit.

Given the right conditions, maybe some of us can now relate to that feeling and understand why others cheat.
I have spoken with a few cheaters that occasionally will admit to it. Their reasoning goes something like, "I was tired of losing to people who were playing bad moves, so I started to use an engine to see how it would play against the opponent". My response is, can't you do that after the game with Stockfish? It's fascinating how they don't see it as a terrible way to act and how much it can upset other people. I guess it comes down to all forms of being unethical (robbing a liquor store, cheating on your wife, driving in the carpool lane by yourself). Some people have a moral compass, and some people don't. Very sad that these people exist.

If you suspect a player of cheating, then please use the report button to report that player. Thank you.
I can't say it's a cheat. 15. Nxa7 is probably NOT a move a comp would play. Black played completely suicidal.
meoc you were white and won the game. You should probably know yourself if you cheated then
One way or the other it's just another type of trolling.
