The one and only reason chess is bad is because it exposes me to humans like @angstg. (Although this was caused by a relationship with chess, I could have, just as easily, been exposed to this copied, inane garbage through another site, so chess isn't to blame.)
Out of the millions (billions) of chess players, only 14 examples with a bad result, most likely not related to chess. A similar list could be created with any hobby.
