player name changed by system?

Lichess stopped functioning for me about 15 hours ago. It's now working but somehow my player name has been changed and it looks like the history of my play and other features under my old player name have been erased.

hmm, it shows no rating for any variant, no history before today, and doesn't show if you registered recently, so seems very likely.

@Jeffwb If your playername has been changed by the system, how did you figure out it to log in?
Or was the name changed while you were logged in? In the latter case: Did anyone have access to the device where you were logged in?
