I decided to create a Lichess blog and what could be a better way to start than analysing my recent Titled Tuesday battle against Alireza Firouzja?! He is arguably the biggest talent in the chess world currently, so I was really looking forward to the game.
He played the King's Indian and sacrificed a pawn early on, but the compensation for it was insufficient. What followed up is a real rollercoaster game with mutual mistakes. Unfortunately for me, I was the one who committed the last error, but anyway it was an encounter worth remembering for.
