A BISHOP OR A KNIGHT?

While playing chess , we always come upon a very challenging yet easy question : who is better , a bishop or a knight? In this blog I am going to find out the answer of this very challenging question

Let's start with our first game.

In move 15 black bishop played e2 pinning the rook and the queen. White played rook e1 losing the queen. So here we see the bishop pinning two of the most important pieces. , rook and queen.

As soon as white knight double attacked the king and rook , black resigned.

UNITY IS STRENGTH

CONCLUSION
Both the bishop and the knight are prominent pieces in the chess board. The bishops are useful in checkmates, long distance checks (as I explained you in game 6) , checkmates and diagonal pins. The knight is useful for sudden attacks and pins and also, checks and checkmates. But in chess also applies the proverb " unity is strength " . The knights and bishops , when they attack together , creates a fighting force that is very hard to break.
