Is Chess Culture Important for Improving at Chess?

Ahem. It would not sit well in evolutionary science. Old 19th century manifest destiny warping of evolution theory out of context. Goes with a lot of what is going wrong right now, we are feeling the consequences, as more awareness of scientific reality gets to be known, well, it might even conflict with wanting to know of that. Giving up the assumptions or common sense we have kept honing many of our young through the ages, with ancient written proofs for still too many of us, cultures, and other self-identifying groups of still perceived homogenous social tissue weaving. Usually, transmitted young enough, in order for its internalization before autonomous reasoning and awareness of non-self, others and the world around us, would developmentally become part of our thinking, as we become adults.

Yes. Human. Not the pinnacle of anything but maybe some past niche adequacy. Problem now, we have flown off the handle. And we are applying another propagated, or is it Occam's razor synergizing with willful ignorance to keep such comforting assumption away from questioning. It is permeating all our economies and demographics. The eternal growth never revisited assumption, I say it is linked to such obvious common-sense sticky but wrong premise.

That we are given this earth, as if we were not part of it. Since that assumption can't stand, verbatim, through increasing evolution theory knowledge and the accumulating body of evidence about life real evolution**, which is that: the static view for each point in the speciation tree, to start with, would include a niche to the concept of fitting. This might be what happens when the obvious has not been written, on assumptions of readership, not met. Rules of thumbs get lonely, and distort the original view, like being a hammering expert would end up making everything a nail. And then what: if the niche itself was never static? Well. This must be some lorem ipsum. Of mine.

So back to the hidden human given the earth, must be special, not part of it, and then ... Also, hindsight branch picking backward is not equivalent to the foresight problem. Tying back to chess, or a certain paradigm of what it might be. That is al folks. I just wanted to pay my dues to some of my past tourism in some academic village.

** hypothesis of why that might be a persistent and disseminated conception. moved to musings.

edit: I am assuming that the blog author is actually using the figure AND having the implied conception of evolution, but the fact that even as staged figurative statement, that it would be expected still to be referring to something known, is what I am responding too. or wondering about.. sharing old thoughts for the non-chess aspect of them.
