Android: How can I choose side for a offline game from Board Editor?

@duropo
Is it so hard to admit that you don't know the answer? Your #7 is start a game regardless the board editor. I don't know why you are so stubborn.

I'm posting in feedback because I know this is the missing function.

Well, I have to thank for your kindness. At least you tried to solve this problem. I will thank you for that.
@11

If you want to start from a different position.

1. Menu
2. Board editor
3. Setup your position by moving pieces around or dragging pieces outside the board to remove the pieces
4. Then follow previous procedure
@13

What is really your problem? State it clearly. What do you want to do?
@duropo

OK. One last time.

Just try to do the following. Suppose you set a end game position like Queen vs King. And you want to practice this position with an "offline computer AI". And white has the queen. You need to play white every time to practice. Can you do that?

Before you answer, try it yourself. You will find, you can change the board editor to the end position, you can then play it with a offline computer AI, but you will not be able to choose side. It is possible for you to get black.
A. You want to play the ai offline as white
1. Menu
2. Board editor
3. Cross sword
4. Select computer
5. Cross sword icon again
6. Select white side (this is your side you want to play)
7. Menu
8. Board editor
9. Setup your position
10. Cross sword
11. Select computer

B. If you want to play as black
1. Follow 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 (select as black here)

Procedure 1 to 6 is important for selecting which side are you going to play.

@duropo

Following your procedure, I got black. It's randomly assigned. It is possible for you to get white after your procedure just by luck.

What you were trying to do is flipping coins. And you are connecting the chance of next flipping to the last one. But I'm pretty sure you do not understand what I'm saying. It's OK.

To be honest, I'm astonished by your thinking. Truly. I will do both of us a favour, end this question. Because it really makes both of us like a iXXXX.

Thank you all the same.
I am sure of what I am writing here. It works on my device.

Be careful with the random, there is a setting for random side, be sure to select what color you will be, based on procedure 1 to 6. Don't select random side there.
@17

Some further explanation you might have missed this.

Setting which side are you (white, black, random), is different from the side to move of the position you setup.

Example 1:
You setup the app so that you are white. Then you setup the position where the side to move is black. Now when you play with computer the computer will move because the side to move of the position is black.

Example 2:
You are white and the position is white to move, then when you play with AI, it will wait for your move because the side to move is white and you are white.
duropo is correct. it works on my android phone just fine. I find this site extraordinarily straight forward for the most part. If no one else can help you, there's always the devs. No one will no more about how to do what you want than them.

Best of luck.
