Chessbase database editor

Hello,

I desperately need some advice on how to insert the link of a game in the Text Editor of a .cbh file.

For example, I write in the text:

"Title: Nimzo indian Rubinstein Variation

blahblabah

see: Polgar-Topalov 2005"

I have this game in the "game" section of this .cbh but I don't know how to create the hypertext link on this text "Polgar-Topalov 2005" in order that when clicking on the text, the game opens.

First, it must be a database text, not just a text. Second, open the game in a window, third, press the insert link to game button (i dont know how exactly the english names are because i have this in german). That should do it.

Yes for the Database Text (I should have precised it).
But no, it gives only a copy of the game characteristics (players, year, result), but not an hypertext link.

First open the database, then open the game from that database window, then click the insert link button (with yellow background in the screenshot).

The procedure posted by @SelfmateMan is the correct one... however keep in mind that, if you are using Chessbase 13, there's been an update, at some point, that broke the hyperlink function

It is fixed now, but you need to get the lastest update (should be version 27)

OK, so that's exactly my problem because i use chessbase 13.

Hence I have to get the latest update (not so easy nowadays if you see what i mean).

Well, click 'File->Activation->Update program": can't get any easier than that

And in case you are suggesting some exotic licence issue, it doesn't make any difference...
