Lichess v2 - feedback

i cant see the whole board now and it wont let me change the size of it...im sad
Rather disappointing. Things just look out of place. The tabs (play, learn, etc) don't line up, everything is just too big. Honestly looks like it was a few hour hackathon project, I'm sorry to say. Perhaps it works well for mobile, but isn't the app there for that reason? It clearly doesn't look great on a browser.
Most people seem to lack the information, that the board can by resized by dragging the bottom right corner.
What an absolutely horrible design. The browser experience of the site is now simply terrible.
Things being too big = Ctrl + Mouse Wheel
Board being too big = Resize button

Problem = sometimes it doesn't appear.
Other problem = some of the aesthetic choices are a bit off and frankly the last version had some better looking aesthetic choices than the new layout but that can also be said the other way around since some of the aesthetic choices of the new version are better than the old one.

Overall it takes just a day to get use to it and then there is no problem. I was pissed off at the beginning myself, now I see no problem with the site.

Cheers :)
The pieces aren't in the correct position on the board, when I start a game, all my pawns are over row 3 (on Firefox), which is unplayable. We need a rollback.
Furthermore, I notice that I can re-size the board...this creates a board with only 7 rows. I can play with the size of the display in the browser as well, and the aspect ratio of the board is not fixed, only the width is, resulting in a short, rectangular board without the correct number of squares.
That's just terrible. All is uncomfortable. The time digits are too big. Chat with the opponent moved down, where it is not visible. The turn table disappeared during the game, and it was convenient, sometimes you had to see what the opponent made the last move or how many moves before repeating. Green color distracts attention, people come here not to relax, but to play. And everything was very convenient compared to chess.com. If you are making a new version, let people use the old version, as it is done on many sites. Obviously, there was nowhere to spend the money, probably, a new talented successful manager came.
Considering long-term development, the new version is a major breakthrough, establishing a machine-independent code base. The previous sparse design was replaced by a responsive design, rendering the existing autonomous app obsolete. Lichess v2 will definitely run on any future operating system. On the other hand it will no longer work with outdated browsers.
to have only one system that has to suit all browsers and apps is a bad Approach. The losers are those using a PC. Design is to big or to small and does not match what we had in the past.
