What's the point of learning chess opening?

Whenever I check the computer analysis of my games it looks like this: en.lichess.org/PYNTxye0/white

It doesn't matter if I take care about opening moves or not, no significant advantage for neither side, it's always an even position in the first 10 moves.

Does it make sense to pay attention to the opening at all? I think I should play the first move that comes to my mind in the beginning then look for some tactics or strategic objective in the middle game.

Yeah that makes more sense than losing time and thoughts on a meaningless phase. What do you think?
Yeah, learn and practise what you like the most.

Looking at your ratings : 2000+ classical is excellent. 1600+ blitz is just above "advanced beginner" level (1500).
In games against 1500 players usually one can see a lot of blunders, also in the opening.
Playing healthy opening moves can give one an advantage, especially when the opponent goes wrong early.

In your game you are playing the Ruy Lopez, in which your opponent replied with the Berlin line.
After 6...h6?! and after 9...f5 evaluation jumps to +0.6
That is almost 1, meaning basically 1 pawn up.
If you look at evaluation in some very solid opening lines, e.g. some Caro-Kann lines, you will see that evaluation stays around +0.3/+0.4
Playing somewhat more unsound lines, can quite quickly have an evaluation of +0.8

After 10...f4 you had the chance to play 11.d3d4!?

For myself, as a mainly tactical player, I really like to squeeze an advantage out of the opening, especially against "weaker" players. It can result in quickly finished games, which comes in handy when one is in the mood of winning a tourney.
What is the point of learning chess? ---A much broader and more open question, but if a Romantic patzer such as myself may be permitted to answer your question (What is the point of learning chess...openings?) then I am inclined to relay simply that it is a major part of the game.

Why choose to ignore 1/3 of the game, if one is interested in learning chess?

This was a quick game. There was not enough time to carefully evaluate the position. Just play many slow games and find out which opening moves work out the best for you.
I'm still not convinced about the importance of openings, I've seen many grandmaster games where advantage went to both sides after the opening regardless of the pluses or minuses in the opening.

I think chess is too complex to master it 100 percent, so learning opening when there are much more important decisive skills to get is nonsense.
@Tangelo777 I played a slow game yesterday and my opponent took too much time to play his sicilian can variation right.

I took no time at all and my advantage after the opening was great though, but he was a 2300 player, after I missed a mating sequence for myself he managed to hold the position and won the game in the end.

I had an opening advantage, he was a better player, in the end being a better player mattered more.
@achja , come on, I think a 0,6 plus might increase the chances to win only by 6 percent, it's not so big deal, not even in a 3 minute game.
I believe what @achja says is that if you don't understand the opening, you get into a losing position very quickly.
I want to add that you play an opening in every game so it's very useful to know openings!

There is much harder subject which is endgame. The hardest is Knight and Bishop and King vs king alone. However, many players don't get into their situation in their entire lives. It is important to be able to convert advantage into a win though.
Your opponent was better at creating tactics and punishing your blunders. The point of the openings is to create as many tactics as possible.
@Tangelo777 yes we all need to play openings, but they are very easy to play correctly, there are some practical openings that don't need to learn variations.

I think tactics in the middlegame are so important that they turn openings to a meaningless phase. Here is my long time control game : en.lichess.org/1CtKwliWdzYH

As you can see, the fact that I missed my opportunities in the middlegame counted more here.
